LANGUAGE ASSESSMENT

Language assessments are necessary in order to find the right course level to match your language ability. Pre-course assessment is free of charge.

Prior to registration for a general course, students are required to take a language assessment (except for beginners). Language assessments are free.

Before registering for an English, Estonian or Russian course, please take the requisite online language test:

If you want to take a test in any other language taught at our language school, please contact us.

In addition to pre-course assessments, it is also possible to take a foreign language level assessment test at TEA Language School. Paid language test consists of three parts: writing, listening and oral conversation.
After the test a certificate is issued to affirm the level of a language. The certificate can be issued based on the European Language Portfolio (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 ja C2) or on a 9-level scale. The certificate also gives the short description of a certain language level.

3 part language test costs 20 euro.

You may also take a separate oral test which costs 8 euro.
